•Dogs will only be accepted for grooming after the Owner (or responsible person) has filled in and signed a client record form. This is kept confidential and secure.

•Animal welfare -No dog will be subjected to undue stress or discomfort and all dogs will be groomed in accordance with The Animal Welfare Act 2012. The owner (or responsible person) authorises Cherry Blue to administer first aid or seek emergency veterinarian treatment  if required. Unless it can be clearly shown that CherryBlue is liable, all costs in conjunction with a vet visit shall be at the owners expense.

•Health concerns-CherryBlue will discuss any health concerns that are brought to light during grooming.

•Matted Dogs-In the event of any dog needing extensive dematting or a shave down, an additional charge of £10 will be made to cover the cost of additional products and the blunting of clipper blades and tools. 

 The owner agrees that Cherry Blue will not be held liable for any after-grooming effects or problems “uncovered” by clipping off a badly matted, neglected coat. This could include, but is not limited to the following: itchiness, skin redness, irritations or abrasions however caused.

•Dangerous Dogs -The owner (or responsible person) agrees to inform us if their pet has a history of  aggression towards humans or other dogs. Cherry Blue reserves the right to muzzle a dog or in some circumstances discontinue a groom, if severe adverse behaviour occurs whilst on the premises.

•Payment - Payment will be made on collection. We currently accept cash, cheque, card payments or bank transfer.

Estimates of time and cost are based on an well maintained dog/cat of the breed or type, should an animal require extensive extra work then this will be charged for at the normal hourly rate. 

•Cancellations - though we appreciate that life happens repeated cancellations will incur £20 fee 

•  Adjustments- these are free of charge but may require a follow up visit. Adjustments are small alterations to the groom - for example, if once home you find that the beard is too long or uneven or you would like a little more off the fringe or skirt.
